A baby gift (and Week 12 of the Organize Your Stuff Challenge)

The organizational challenge this week was ribbons, fibers, thread, etc.  Luckily this took me almost no time at all.  Almost everything I had (which, admittedly, isn't a lot) was already organized.  So it only took me about an hour to wind the pile of random ribbons and fibers that had mysteriously appeared from who knows where and put them in my embellishment binders.  I also found a little bottle of those teeny tiny Primas hiding in the pile, so I had to separate those and file them away.  Remind me never to buy one of those bottles of assorted colors again...what a pain!  Anyway, no picture this week because it's nothing new...just the same embellishment binders!  Which I love more every day, BTW.  It took me no time to flip through and find the ribbon I needed for this:
I am just SOOOO happy with how this turned out!  One of our favorite cousins had their first baby a few weeks ago, and I wanted to do something special for this momentous occasion.  This was super easy, super cheap and turned out super cute (if I do say so myself)!  Bought a frame from JoAnn's (on sale, of course), cut the name out of adhesive vinyl with my beloved Silhouette and stuck it on the glass, raided my stash for the cute background paper from Creative Imaginations, and stuck on a ribbon bow made with scraps from my stash.  Voila!  I had asked what the nursery colors were, and they said they just had a green and brown rug, and a green giraffe on the wall...I thought she needed some pink added in there!!

Oh, one more thing...I'm kinda excited that I have a LO up on the Scrap Our Stash Challenge blog!  I don't submit things much, so this was a little thrill for me!  Tee hee!
