Random thoughts on a Thursday

It is now week 7 of the "Organize Your Stuff Challenge" over at Two Peas, and I have to admit I'm a little behind.  I pretty much knew that week 6 would be my downfall.  Photos.  Actually, mine are more organized than they used to be.  I know where all of them are, so that's a start!  And most are either in albums or on the computer organized by date.  But I just do not have time right now to get the rest into albums.  I need to SCRAP!!  I have three weeks until graduation, and events seem to be conspiring to keep me from the scrapping I need to do before then!  I figure I have about six more two page layouts to create and a couple of single pagers I would like to finish before Pretty Girl's open house on June 5th.  So my organizing is taking a back seat right now.  I DID get my sketch collection into matching binders, though.  So my week 7 (Ideas) task is pretty much done.

Oh, yeah, here is what my awesome Hubby got for me for Mother's Day:

Hubby and Pretty Girl both have nice DSLRs, so if we need "professional" pictures we are all set.  But I love carrying a little camera in my purse, and my old one got lost.  I would have been happy with a very simple, cheap Canon.  But this was on sale at Costco and Hubby said he wanted me to have a nicer camera.  Its big test came yesterday at the rugby game.  And it took AWESOME action shots!  So I am very happy with this! It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10.

Oh, yeah, he also got me a subscription to the Silhouette online store!  Is he the greatest Hubby or what?!!?
