Organize Your Stuff Challenge - Week 1

So I just uploaded my "before" pictures for this challenge on Two Peas.  Here are a few of the photos:

I have attempted to organize my stuff in the past, and some things are working pretty well, but there are definitely areas that need work.  And I'd love to have the area look more cohesive and "pretty"!  Here is my "starting point list":

What works:
Cardstock organized by color in vertical files
Embellies organized by color in my homemade "ScrapRack" system
Tools right in front of me where I can get them
Rubons organized on Clip-It-Up

What doesn't work/ideas:
Color scheme?
Patterned paper – need a storage system - this is a biggie!
Labels – paper holders, hanging file folders, “scraprack”
Scrap paper – in rolling file?  Or in drawers?
“Pages in progress” – where to put these?  Hang them?
Tools – new caddy?  Or reorganize and put on lazy susan?
Stamps – storage -  in business card  or baseball cardpage protectors?   Then in 3 ring binders
Vinyl, cutting mats, 8 ½ X 11 cardstock - storage
Stencils – store  in page protectors in 3 ring binders?
Lighting – need a better light with wider spread of light
How to utilize the corner?  Stand for Clip It Up?  Or printer? 

Things to rearrange:
Get rid of computer on desk
Plug stuff into computer plugs in desk
Move rolling cart to side of desk
Get rid of paper and CD cases under desk
Move Silhouette to right side of desk
Need a cordless phone! 

Shopping/wish list:
Paper holder (at least one)
Matching 3 ring binders
Shelf for above desk, with rod underneath

I won't be blogging next week, as I will be in Orlando with the hubby and daughter!  YAY!
