When I saw this photo on Facebook, I knew I had to scrap it. DS had such a blast on the pit crew for his Grand Prix team...and they got fourth! For those of you wondering, Grand Prix is a go cart race held every spring at Purdue...it's modeled after the Indy 500. Anyway, I think my boy looks super cool in his jumpsuit...kinda like he should be in "Top Gun" or something!
I used Core'dinations and embossed it with a Tim Holtz Texture Fades embossing folder, sanding it to bring out the white core. The center section was misted with Tattered Angels glimmer mist, and I cut the gears, the checkerboard strip and the title with my Silhouette. The other paper is something old from my stash...it was actually a diagonal pattern that I cut so it was straight! And, of course, lots of inking with Distress Ink!
It's always nice to see a "boy" page! Need to get that gears folder! LOVE Core'dinations too :)
ReplyDeleteSuper great LO! You are not a quitter if you opt out of BIF. I think that the words are definately rough to work with! I would do the ones that speak to you (if you want a shot at the prizes by the 28th) else, make a list of 12 words that mean something to you and do that instead. Thanks for visiting! I love hearing from you! -Amanda
