Layouts are easier when your paper is organized!

I am currently on a "mini roll" with my layouts.  I have a little over a month to get DD's dance and football scrapbooks done for her graduation open house.  The pictures on this LO are from 2006.  So you can see how much I have to get done!  I'm not in panic mode yet, but I feel it quickly approaching.  At first I thought maybe doing the "organizing your stuff" challenge would put me behind on my actual scrapping.  But that doesn't seem to be the case.  After clearing out my scrap area and beginning to organize, I am feeling more creative.  All of the LOs I have to do are "theme and activity" oriented, so using patterned paper and lots of embellishments isn't really the way I can go.  But because of the solid colors of the dresses in these photos, I was able to use these wonderful Bo Bunny Block Party papers.  I cut the titles and created the flowers with my Silhouette.  I used a sketch by Susan Stringfellow from her Sketch Savvy blog as inspiration.  I usually try to do a different LO for each dance she did, following the theme of the song.  These two didn't "speak to me" with any creative ideas, but I think my solution worked well.

Only two more dance LOs and then I can move on to football.  I probably won't post many of those.  I don't want everyone to overdose on red and white!
